Good Evening Parents,

This is it! We are ready to kick off the 2020-2021 year this Sunday evening, outside at the church, from 6:30-8pm with our annual Parent/Student Meeting. This meeting is a great way to knock out all the necessary housekeeping matters that need to be addressed every year. It also serves as a way to inform you of this year's theme and teaching scope, what we plan on doing, and what we are aiming at this year.

Common questions you may have:

Do I need to attend? Yes! It is vital that all parents and students make an effort to attend, so that we are all on board prior to the beginning of the year.

What if I can't make it? Then your child cannot participate this year...just kidding. However, you will need to fill out the student release form (see attached) and hand that in ASAP.

What do I need to bring? TWO THINGS: You will need to fill out the form(s) attached to this email and bring them with you and bring your own chairs!

What can I expect? We will walk through this year’s calendar of events. We will give you an overview of the teaching for this semester. Your kids will have time to meet with their small group leaders, and you will enjoy desserts and fellowship. We should end around 8pm.

Bear in mind some changes due to Covid19. We will be meeting outside WEATHER PERMITTING. So please bring your own chairs and bug spray, and as we do on Sunday mornings, please wear a mask until seated. Dessert will be provided (No need to bring dessert). If we have to cancel due to weather, I will email you a link where you can watch the meeting online.

Youth Group will resume regular weekly meetings on August 19th. All gatherings will be on the lawn behind the church during this season of COVID-19. Read more about Grace Community Students here.
