Where We Are So Far: A Review
Revelation 1-11

  • Read chapters 4 & 5 of Revelation to prepare your heart for worshipful reflection on what you have learned so far in this book.
  • Did you have a position (Premillennial, Amillennial, etc.) coming into this study? Has your position stayed the same, has it changed, or are you somewhere in the middle? Perhaps you are more open to looking at Revelation from a different viewpoint than you were before, but with so many legitimate views, you cannot go wrong if you keep Jesus as the focus of this study.
  • What have you learned so far?
    • What has surprised you about this study?
    • What has been your favorite chapter or section so far?
    • Why is it important for us to study Revelation when there are so many ways of interpreting it that would fall under the umbrella of orthodox beliefs?
  • Revelation should motivate us to be more intentional about witnessing. Discuss ways that your group can engage the world with the gospel.
  • What are you most looking forward to in the second half of our time in Revelation?
  • Pray for your missionary, who is under spiritual attack (as are you!).
